Muslim Condemnation of the Boston Bombing

O Muslims!! You must openly condemn terror

An announcement by Ubaid al-jabiri a well known Salafi Muslim scholar who resides in Saudi Arabia who is respected by Americas mainstream Salafi Muslims

So I say it is upon you O Muslims (of the west) being that you are neighbors with non-Muslims. It is necessary whenever those who blemish the perfect image of Islam - from the deviant groups or individuals with deviant thoughts and those who jeopardize public safety – that you announce that you are free from them in the newspapers, on the radio, in lectures and Friday sermons in the mosques so that your non Muslim neighbors know that these acts be  they bombings, kidnappings and assassinations are not from Islam and have nothing to do with it in the least rather they have been insidiously imported into this pure religion even if someone who claims this religion has committed any of these acts. [This must be done] so that your neighbors may be aware that the religion of Islam is a religion of gentleness, a religion that maintains public safety, and that it is a religion that preserves the rights of both Muslims and non-Muslims.
