Shortly after converting to Islam while still in my early teens I met a number of brothers from Arab countries with large christian minorities. I heard some horror stories about converts to Islam from christian families and the treatment they received from their own relatives even parents. Most of them where disowned. I even heard of converts who were targeted by their own family members with threats of murder. The following is a selection of articles documenting these events in the Middle East.
