A Beneficial Advice from Shaykh Rabee'

"شيخ شو تنصحنا فيزمن نتعرض فيه للفتن؟
"Shaykh what do you advice us with in this time in which many trials have presented themselves."
أنا أوصي الإخوان أولا بتقوى الله –عز وجل- ومراقبته في كل الأحوال (يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلاً سَدِيداً (70) يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَن يُطِعْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزاً عَظِيماً )
"I advize my brothers first and foremost with having taqwaa of Allaah and being in a state of muraaqabah of him in all situations
O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth.
He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (SAW) he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise).
فعليكم بتقوى الله –عز وجل- وتقوى الله بامتثال أوامره واجتناب نواهيه...
وعليكم بالقول السديد وهو الصدق "يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ"
　
So you must have taqwaa of Allaah by fulfilling his commands and abandoning his prohibitions!
And you must have straightforward speech which is truthfulness
O you who believe! Be afraid of Allah, and be with those who are true (in words and deeds). 9:119
فعليكم بالصدق وعليكم بالصدق وعليكم بالصدق، فإنه قد كثر الكذب كثر جدا وشاع –بارك الله فيكم- حتى من أناس يزعمون كذبا وزورا أنهم من أهل السنة وهم خصوم أهل السنة، فرأينا منهم الكذب الكثير وعدم التقوى وعدم الورع في القول والفعل.
So stick to being truthful stick to being truthful and stick to being truthful, because lying has become plentiful and wide spread- baarakallaahu feekum- even by those who falsly and lyingly claim to be among the people of the sunnah and they are infact among its enemies. To the extent that we have witnessed in them much lying and an absense of taqwa and waryness in actions and statements...
تعلموا العلم لوجه الله وأخلصوا فيه لله وأخلصوا في كل أعمالكم، واعلموا أن الله يعلم ما في النفوس، وما تكنه الصدور، فيراقب الله الإنسان فيما ينطق به لسانه وفيما يفكر به قلبه وعقله، لا يفكر إلا بالخير وفيما ينفع الإسلام والمسلمين، لا يفكر بالشر والفتن والبلايا كما يفعل كثير من الناس.
Seek knowledge for Allaah's face and be sincere in seeking it for Allaah and be sincere in all of your deeds and know that Allaah knows that which is in ones soul and that which is contained in ones chest. so may each person keep Allaah in mind as regards what he utters with his tounge and thinks with his heart and mind, so let him not think except of good and that which is a benefit to islam and the muslims not of evil nor of fitnahs and trials as do many among the people.
أخلصوا لله –عز وجل-(ألا لِلَّهِ الدِّينُ الْخَالِصُ) (وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاء وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ) فأخلصوا دينكم لله لأن هذا هو الدين القيم وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة، صلوا كما كان رسول الله يصلي، ابحثوا كيف كان رسول الله يصلي وصلوا بصلاته -عليه الصلاة والسلام- عندكم صفة الصلاة للشيخ الألباني -الله يرحمه- هذه يعني تبين لكم صلاة النبي –عليه الصلاة والسلام- من التكبير إلى التسليم.
Be sincere to Allaah (Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allah only) [39:3] (And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat: and that is the right religion) [98:5]. So make your religion purely for Allaah because this is the right religion, and establish the salaah and give the zakaah, and pray as the messenger of Allaah would pray, research how the messenger of Allaah would pray and pray as he did, you have have in your possession "The Prophet's Prayer Described" by Shaykh Al-albaani -may Allaah have mercy on him- this will clarify to you the prayer of the prophet from the initial takbeer to the final tasleem.
وآتوا الزكاة على الوجه المشروع ولا تكتموا منها شيئا .. And give zakaah in the legislated manner and withhold not anything of it.
واطلبوا العلم بإخلاص لله رب العالمين لأن العلم من أفضل العبادات بعد الأركان أفضل من الجهاد ..ومن صدقة التطوع ومن صلاة التطوع.
And seek knowledge with sincerity for the sake of Allaah the Lord of all that exists because knowledge is of the best acts of worship after the (5) pillars better than jihad.. and superogatory sadaqah and superogatory prayer.
فطلب العلم أمر عظيم جدا، اطلبوا العلم من مصادره الصحيحة من كتاب الله ومن سنة الرسول –صلى الله عليه وسلم- وتفسير السلف الصالح، ما هو كل تفسير تقرؤونه، تفسير السلف الصالح كتفسير ابن كثير وابن جرير تفسير البغوي تفسير السعدي.
Seeking knowledge is indeed a tremendous affair, seek knowledge from authentic sources from the book of Allaah and the sunnah of the messenger and the tafseer of the pious predecessors not that you should read every tafseer, the tafseer of the salaf like the tafseer of ibn katheer and ibn Jareer (al-Tabaree), the tafseer of al-baghawee and of al-sa'dee.
واطلبوا الحديث من مصادره من الكتب الصغار بلوغ المرام وعمدة الأحكام ثم البخاري ومسلم وأبو داوود والترمذي النسائي.
And seek the knowledge of hadeeth from its proper sources from the smaller books such as buloogh al-maraam and 'Umdatul-Ahkaam then Bukhaaree and Muslim and abu daawood Tirmidhee and al-nasaa'ee.
ثم كتب التوحيد (توحيدالعبادة) كتاب التوحيد للإمام محمد كشف الشبهات فتح المجيد (توحيد الأسماء والصفات)كالواسطية والحموية والتدمرية وغيرها من كتب شيخ الاسلام ابن تيمية.
As for the books of tawheed (tawheed al ibaadah); kitaab al-tawheed by the imaam muhammad ibn abdil wahhaab and Kashf al shubuhaat and fath al-majeed. tawheed al asmaaa was-sifaat; aalwasatiyyah and al-hamawiyyah and al-tadmuriyyah and other than these books from the works of Ibn taymiyyah
كتاب (الشريعة للآجري) تعرفون منهج أهل السنة والجماعة ومنهج أهل الضلال (السنة للخلال) وما شاكل ذلك بارك الله فيكم.The book entitled al-sharee'ah by Imaam al-aajurree by way of which you will know the methodology of the people of the sunnah from the methodology of the people of misguidance also al-sunnah by al-khallaal and similiar books تعلموا وصمموا على العمل بعض عنده علم نظري فقط ما في عمل ، لا. نعرف منهج السلف الصحيح ونعمل به مع ما واجهناه من المشاكل والدعايات والشائعات الخبيثة التي يرتكبها أهل الأهواء في تشويه أهل السنة وصدهم الناس عن سبيل الله"اهـ.
Learn and be determined in acting upon your knowledge, some have only theoretical knowledge without action, no, rather we know the methodology of the pious predecessors and we implement it no matter what we may face in the way of hardships, propaganda and malicious rumors perpetrated by the people of desires to distort the image of the people of sunnah and hold back people from Allaah's path."
